Disclaimer
Even though my ex-wife has often said that I was certifiable, I hold no
certifications related to any of the topics discussed on this website. Use whatever
you read here at your own risk, especially anything related to financial and
retirement issues. I made a lot of mistakes while planning for and during the first
few years of my own retirement. My significant other is 9 years younger and I did not
want her to make the same mistakes. Once I had the time from 5 AM to 10 PM seven
days a week, I started researching some of the things to improve her retirement
situation. I’m sharing a lot of what I learned here, but as stated above, I’m not
certified to give any advice, so again, use what you see at your own risk!
Now on to this website!
Today’s millennial geeks all have their Facebook pages where they constantly update
every time they brush their teeth and other daily hygiene tasks.
I’m an old fashion geek, born in 1947. I built and programmed my first computerized
equipment in the late 60’s. I don’t even have a Facebook account.
So, I got this domain name and created this website using some of the software I
created and used when I was running a web hosting business in the late 90’s and for a
while in the 21st century.
A few of you might be interested in some of the old fashion ways to create web pages
with HTML and CSS.
Some might be interested in my personal hobbies like camping and taking care of our
pets.
But the main purpose of this site is to share with you my personal thoughts on
retirement planning.
So, use the links in the right hand column and I hope you enjoy the site and find it
useful.
