The Wells
We are replacing our original C1 Wells tiles with C2 Wells tiles
because the background of the new tiles is a better match for our
existing tiles. Feel free to move your mouse over the Water Well
image on the right of this paragraph to see the differences in
the new tiles.
Just like a coat of arms counts as an extra tile when scoring a city,
a Water Well next to a road will count as an extra tile when scoring
a road . . . with the following exceptions!
|
The well is associated with the road in the upper right part
of the tile. The well does not count as an extra tile for the
roads terminated by the Monastery. |
|
This tile has two wells on it. The tile will be counted three
times when scoring the road. |
|
The well is at the cross-roads, and ends each of the four roads.
It scores 1 extra point for each of the four roads when each is
completed. |
|
The well is located at the junction of the two
roads. It scores 1 point when either of the
two roads is completed. |
|
The well is located on the road connected to
the city. It is not associated with the road
which crosses the bridge. There are four
field segments on this tile (no connection
beneath the bridge). |
|
The well is located at the end of the road
which crosses the bridge. It is not associated
with the road from the city to the bottom of
the tile. There are 3 field segments on this
tile (no connections beneath the bridge). |
|
The three pieces of road are connected to
each other and can only be scored when all
sections are completed. The well does not
mark the end of the road. The well scores
once for the tile (not 3 times). |
|
The four pieces of road are connected to
each other and can only be scored when all
sections are completed. The well does not
mark the end of the road. The well scores
once for the tile (not 4 times). |
